21st century skills - The future of Legal Profession
In the 21stcentury, the age of expansion in the information technology sector, the pervasive role of the internet and technology cannot be ignored. In the era in which DeltaLawyers are the need of the hour, the revolving world has transformed into an information-centric world where information processing, machine learning, and knowledge processing are the mainstay, and the expectations and employable skills required in the sector are continuously shifting.
Artificialintelligence, crypto, and token systems find increasing relevance and usage in fields and industries, including finance, health care, education, transportation, and more. But, the legal profession has generally been slow to adapt to technological changes. The legal practice (litigation) sector and corporate legal sector continue to be driven by inefficient practices and dependency on manual systems—a far cry from the increasing automation and innovation in the 21stcentury.
Is there a need to shift? If yes, when and how? What is the future of the legal profession?
