‘Anti-Child Labour Day’ 2021

Pandemic year 2021 is the International Year for the elimination of child labour. According to International Labour Organisation (ILO), 152 million children across the world are still in child labour. The global spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has led to disrupted education, family illness, loss of household income impacting the momentum of the drive to eliminate child labour by 2025.

A panel discussion is organised by the Centre of Excellence for Women, Child, and the Law (CEWCL) in association with Karnataka State Legal Services Authority (KSLSA) to delve upon the role of institutions in combating child labour in India.
