“SWAGATAM !!”
IFIM Law School is organising an Alternate Dispute Resolution Fest (ADR Fest) along with Centre for Sports Law, Economics and Policy, “CONCORDAT 2.0”, scheduled from 15th July 2022 – 17th July 2022.
CONCORDAT is the flagship event organized by Centre for ADR, The first edition was based on Negotiation and Mediation, wherein 16 teams from across the country participated and put their best foot forward.
CONCORDAT 2.0 aims to go a step ahead and provide a holistic experience of all the forms of ADR to the participants with a fusion of Client Counselling and Negotiation, and Mediation and Arbitration as two formats C-Neg and Med-Arb. The event is spread over three days, wherein participants will not only compete but will be allowed to unwind themselves every evening and enjoy a cultural feast.
The Centre for ADR & Centre for Sports Law, Economics and Policy strongly believes that there is no learning without fun and as the name “ADR FEST” suggests, there shall be a Carnival organized as a part of CONCORDAT 2.0. Breaking the monotony of the anxiety in the Competition, the Carnival shall be the breath of fresh air with games, dance, music, food and much more. We look forward to host all of you again this year.
Format of the Competition
Three days fest will witness two categories of competition. Each category shall have four rounds: Preliminary, Quarter-Final, Semi-Finals and Finals.
The entire competition will be based on problems related to Sports Law and Private International Law. In both the format the problem will evolve with every passing round and new elements/complexities will be introduced after each round. First 16 Teams registering for each format will be considered for the competition
In the first two rounds, the participants will get to exercise their mediation skills whereas, in the last two rounds of the competition, their arbitration skills would be assessed.
Team Composition
For Med-Arb, each team shall comprise of three students.
Registration Fee
The Registration fee for Med-Arb is Rs 4500/- per team
In the first two rounds, the participants will get to showcase their client counselling skills whereas, in the last two rounds of the competition, their negotiation skills would be tested.
