INTRA- IFIM Deal Negotiation Competition

Deal making is an art through abled, focused and creative negotiation. Be it a sale of an asset, a vendor agreement, acquisition deal or a merger of two corporations both the parties need to put their best foot forward at the bargaining table to achieve a common end with profitable deal.
In today’s world be it a business school graduate, a law school or a B.Com, BB.A and allied course student, they need to be equipped with the skill of negotiation to excel in their respective field.
IFIM Law School therefore on April 5th, 2019 organised an extensive brainstorming and exuberating session on negotiation. Students from IFIM Business School, IFIM College and IFIM Law School went head to head to crack a favourable settlement in deal negotiation for their team. Total 20 teams participated in the event and was adjudged by various mediation centre, academia and law firm’s representatives. All the participants were given negotiation training on 27th March 2019 before the final competition.
Ms. Nidhi Chauhan and Ms. Fathima Rifa from IFIM Law School emerged as the winner. Ms. Swetha G of IFIM College was Best Client and Mr. Laksh Vohra and Ms. Preethi were declared as Best Counsel of the Competition.
All participants agreed in unison that it was a great learning experience with practical exposure.
