Report on Conference @ Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Law College

Bishop Cotton Women’s Christian Law College, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, in collaboration with National Law School of India University, Bangalore, had organized a one-day International Conference on, “Securing Cyber Space – Recalibrating Legal and Technological Dimensions”, on 13th May 2018. The conference was aimed at creating awareness on cyber related issues and find solutions to the cybercrimes. The Program started with mind provoking panel discussions by eloquent speakers, providing knowledge and sharing their vision and experiences on the subject. Students, practitioners and Professors presented their research papers on the chosen theme relating to cyber Law.
More than 50 paper presenters attended the one-day International Conference. 16 students pursuing cyber law elective course along with the Faculty Co-Ordinator Asst Prof Shagufta Anjum from IFIM Law School presented research papers on various themes relating to cybercrimes.
Cyber Law experts across the nation took part in this International Conference in Chairing the Sessions.
Writing on a research paper related to Cyber law while doing Cyber Law as an elective course turned out to be productive. Students from IFIM Law School has successfully presented their research papers in the International Conference. The exposure which was obtained through conference was phenomenal. The Conference was such an amazing and great learning experience.
